Kathleen Hopper – Horn

Kathleen Hopper, originally from Louisville, KY, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a minor in Art History from Murray State University (Murray, KY), a Master of Music from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the Doctorate of Musical Arts with a cognate in Brass Literature and Pedagogy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has performed with the Danville Symphony (Danville, VA), Novus Chamber Orchestra, Fibonacci Chamber Orchestra, Paducah Symphony (Paducah, KY), Greensboro Choral Society, Bel Canto, Market Street Brass, Stratford Brass, Quaker Brass, and the Elon University Department of Performing Arts. Ms. Hopper has performed in conjunction with many professional societies and conferences including, the Society of Composers, Inc.


Dorian L. Parreott II - Low Brass 

Dorian Parreott, II has a vast amount of experience as an instrumental performer, school educator, conductor, clinician, and chamber music coach.  Dorian holds a BA in Performance and Education from The College of New Jersey and holds a Masters in Educational Administration from Phoenix University,  Although retired from 29 years as a public school instrumental music teacher, his journey did not stop in the classroom.

Dorian has demonstrated his ability through his continuing Jazz, Dixie, Broadway, and Classical performances on many instruments although his major instrument is tuba.  He has performed, toured, and recorded with many legends of the business from James Spaulding, Frank Foster, Henry Threadgill, Russell Gunn, David Murray, to Howard Johnson's Gravity, and plays baritone-sax and trombone currently with Glen Burtnik of STYX just to name a few.  Dorian has performed in pit orchestras on Broadway; as tuba soloist with many NJ orchestras; toured European and India Jazz Festivals; musical arranger for The NJ Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony house band; and has been a part of a command performance for the King of Morocco.

Dorian has a wide-ranging ability to teach and play many of the band instruments and has taught award winning programs from elementary to championship high school marching bands.  He can give your child a great head start or bring you to that advanced level of audition performance you are looking for.
